No disrespect intended to anyone here but I wonder how many people are getting negative results because they haven't swabbed in the right place?

CK2 - saw that this morning. Almost makes it look as though BoJo and co knew what they were doing.

I think unless you know what you are doing then some folk are likely to swab incorrectly. Gag reflex would stop me going too deep

My thoughts exactly LMH, I am not sure I would have managed to insert the swab as deep myself, one of the team carrying out the test at work is a friend of mine, I trusted her to do it, although I did warn her the continuation of our friendship might be in the balance 🤣

The advantage of a bit more face to face communication is that we have been able to support and reassure some very nervous people.

Mine came back an hour ago as negative. Test done at 3:30pm yesterday.

I agree that there’s a chance I could have done it incorrectly. The instruction sheet was very clear however but perhaps the swabbing was done wrong my me. I’ve never done anything like that before.

Glad to hear TMW I certainly know I’d struggle I can’t cope with the dentist!

Far too excited to have a desk arrive, as I can’t see me being back at work anytime this year if ever full time I opted to set up an office at home again. Feel grateful I have the space to do this. I feel for everyone who cannot.

Great news tmw. I'm still waiting. Feeling a little better today but still exhausted, coughing a bit and head still sore. But more 'with it' though.

Do the scientists among us have any views on Professor Karl Friston’s views that only 20% of the population were ever actually susceptible to Covid?
