Scotland’s new Covid rules: ocial distancing rules dropped, except in healthcare settings All limits on group numbers dropped Large venues like nightclubs can reopen Requirement to wear face coverings indoors in public places and on public transport remain Pupils and teachers will have to continue wearing masks indoors for up to six weeks after schools return Whole classes in schools will no longer have to stay at home if an infection is discovered, although children and adults who are higher-risk close contacts will be told to isolate Outdoor events of more than 5,000 people and indoor events of more than 2,000 will have to apply for permission from local authorities and the Government to go ahead Fully vaccinated adults and all children will be able to avoid self-isolation if they are a close contact of someone with Covid-19, so long as they are symptomless and provide a negative PCR test. Some sensible relaxations. |

Fragile Do Not Bend
Interesting.. during the covid restrictions my local Sainsbury’s had divided the entrance way in half - half for in and half for out - but they put it back to normal when the restrictions were eased. Now the dividers are back - I wonder if that was because customers preferred it that way or if they know something we don’t?

My Sainsburys swapped the two sides recently. It actually made more sense now there are no queues (which there were when the signs first went up.) More people approach the store from the right than the left and that half now has the 'IN' sign.
