Was in a very well ventilated lochside cafe yesterday, where floor to counter flexi at order point.

I walked from my table to the order point maskless, as no other customers.

Got a telling off. Crazy.

We are not doing 16 and 17 year olds yet - I think it’s to do with the safeguarding logistics and making sure we have paediatric resus trained people available

Rosehip - Cambridge walk ins are doing 17 within 3 months of 18th birthday, so you can take him today if you don’t mind driving

I might see if I can move him tomorrow, but now he's got Thursday in his head (which is full enough of waiting for college results) that will probably have to do

Fellrunning, I hope you continue to post on here as your thoughts are worth reading, to me. I understand your objection, I simply disagree and gave what I feel is a robust argument why. Nothing personal, but misinformation is a pretty big threat to all of us at the moment and worthy of discussion, in my opinion.

Someone sent me details of a walk in centre next week. If I turn up with ds2 who is 16, what are the chances of him getting jabbed in Berkshire?

Not sure what the safeguarding issues are for over 16s? They are allowed to give consent themselves at that age

The email said they are ‘encouraged’ to bring proof of age, so not sure how strict they would be. I’m keen to get him jabbed ASAP personally given he’s starting college in less than a month
