I've run out of time today, but have walked twice and cycled. I'm off to bed now as it's back to school tomorrow and a big day looms.

I awakened and then started softening but got really bored. The range of movements just seem really limited, I’m not keen on forward folds and downward dogs and that’s most of what she seems to do. I’ll stick with doing daily yoga but unless someone tells me she adds in different stuff I’m ditching the challenge. I know her other videos are more diverse and I’m sure she’s getting people to improve certain moves but snore-zzzz-yawn

I know what you mean fleecy! I'm using it as an opportunity to work at just going with the flow (pun unintended but appropriate). I found that challenging today, and the reminder to consider whether I was working too hard was very pertinent!

I take your point Fleecy - but I do see a point of the downward dogs and forward folds - they are great 'connecting' moves to be familiar with (good for hammies too!). Also - for me - a structured 30 days is a good idea, there's a lot of thought put into the day by day progression even if that's not immediately apparent. Saves me randomly picking my favourites every day.

I've done at least three of them and the longer you go stick with it the more sense it makes. There's a good build up of core strength and balance moves, lots of lunges (REALLY useful for runners)

Your post resonates with me, Oaty.

But I'm not doing Day 5 'til tomorrow when I will double it up with 6. Strict observance of Day of Rest here!

Day 5 done and once again I enjoyed it - struggled at the beginning with the sitting cross legged and put your forearms on the floor bit, that was just not happening :-o :-)

About This Thread

Maintained by Sharkie
In January 2016 fraggle decided to follow Adriene (of Yoga with Adriene fame -only she wasn't 'quite' so famous back then). It was the start of Adriene's second 30 Days of Yoga and fraggle started a thread and asked anyone interested to join in. I did, I completed the 30 days and I got a PB fpr my 60 metres at the end of it so it was certainly not detrimental....

ANYWAY

Fancy joining in with this year's 30 day programme - 'Home'?

Here's the link to Adriene's site, the link for 'Home' is right at the top
