My sister is making that cake for my mum's 90th birthday tea this weekend - I do hope it won't be death by chocolate

Ha ha! LD - there's only me and my boy here so it would be serious overdose for the pair of us. I'm sure shared amongst many it would be quite alright

I know this is just showing off, but I finally got my croissants to work (well near enough).
Now I need some suggestions for what to do with the ones we didn't eat for breakfast. Anybody know if they freeze?

Those look very beautiful, jacdaw! Croissants from the shops cope very well with being frozen, and I'm sure yours will too
I'm hoping that whoever said it was OK to freeze bananas wasn't April-fooling, because I've just whanged some going-black 'nanas in the freezer so that I can use them next week to make a load of banana cake for an event.

Bananas freeze fine. I like sticking frozen bananas in milkshakes.
