Runnyeyes - yes I used tinned pumpkin that gets imported from the states called Libby's pumpkin. The reciped says two cups of pumpkin so I'm sure you could use regular pumpkin, roast it up then make a puree out of it. It's a lovely yummy bread with cinammon and cloves and I think some nutmeg as well.

As for the pretzels in the chocolate - the pretzels come with some salt which with chocolate is a lovely combination. YUM! I grew up with this "bark candy" being white chocolate, but just for fun I used regular milk chocolate to see how that tasted. Just as good!

Normal service is now resumed after the Christmas excess - Chocolate coconut chunks - a bit like flapjacks but less so.

Juddi - I'm no master baker, but I make A LOT of scones! (Every day at work)

I always use SR flour as I can't be trusted with baking powder! If you put in too much the scones will have a nasty after taste. Just remember not too roll them out too thin either.
