Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Hi everyone! This is my first target on my post baby comeback (he’s 12 weeks old)

I didn’t get very close on my 10k 2 weeks ago but today I managed 59.81% with my 51.50 time. Aaarrgghh! Next time though right?!

Gymfreak - you'll soon smash that 10k time and WAVA score, great running, speedy comeback post baby.

I went to Ireland at the weekend and did the most amazing marathon, Glendalough Lap of the Gap, the hardest road marathon I've ever done and stunning course, think Dartmoor Discovery/Windermere/Snowdonia/Dingle/Connemara all rolled into one. Uphill to 14 miles to Sally Gap, then predominantly downhill for the 2nd half with 2 savage climbs. Managed to scrape a WAVA of 60.42%. Absolutely loved the event.

Great WAVA Shades on such a hard course! I reckon I’d love that one as I love all the others you mention although my foot limits me to halves these days!

Gymfreak - there is a half marathon too, an out and back course. Not quite so scenic as the full but does go up as far as the Glenmacnass Waterfall and then back down again. visitwicklow.ie

The half marathon started 30 minutes after us and only the leader caught me up as I was plodding up a long hill, he was really fast and finished ahead of the 2nd runner by 14 minutes. Turned out he's a 2:16 marathon runner and former winner of Dublin marathon and has represented Ireland in the World Championships.

Well done LindsD, I watched the Vitality 10k on telly, looked like a good event.
