I had a bit of a surprise this weekend on checking my two most recent parkrun results as I've exceeded 60% in both. 63.31% (pancake flat) and 61.67% (a bit hilly). Now I'm going to see how much faster I'd need to go to hit the next milestones... |

A few years ago I was around 65%, but a long way off that now. Missed out on 60% by 5 seconds in a 3 mile race last week. The only race in the last 3 years I've gone over 60% was last years Kirkintilloch 10K, which is coming back round in a few weeks, so hopefully I can repeat that this year. Maybe even manage a 60% standard this year (currently 56%)

Ah, I've only just discovered this thread. Target to achieve 60% in all rounds of the EMGP 2019 series of eight races. With the exception on MK10K all are hilly courses. mkac.org.uk So far so good. Blisworth Friday 5 = 62.33 Rugby 6 = 61.46% Banbury 5 week after next. As the rounds progress I expect to get slower. Or will I? |
