Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Quite right, V'rap. I adjusted my settings here on FE to apply the 2010 WAVA tables in preference to anything more recent. I felt that having all my WAVA scores from previous years suddenly downgraded by possibly a couple of tenths of a percent wasn't really something that I wanted to see.

I suppose the only reason that I might consider switching to the "new" tables would be if I started to race in supershoes of any description. I suspect that this is may be where many of the faster times which are driving performances up have come from, but if I'm not using them, I certainly don't want to be measured against the standards of those who are.

Got something to say?

About This Thread

Hello, has anyone else noticed a difference in WAVA scores on Fetch vs parkrun?

I noticed that today's parkrun on my Fetch Race List gave me 59.00 but on the parkrun website it's 59.57.

It's not something that bothers me massively but I have a few targets I'm thinking of for next year which focus on WAVA so wondered which was correct?
