That would be 44:21 for 10K. Reckon that’s achievable after last night.

Congrats everyone, some great results especially as the weather has warmed up too.

We had perfect conditions last night and the undulating course really suits me. I was hoping for a low 51!
My next try will be next week I think but it’s an off road one (nearly flat though) and I never run well there, I need tarmac so that will just be for practice. Then I think I have another one end June then nothing planned for a bit. Might do burnham beeches 10k in August (the half would be silly talk I think)
We do have a club 5k series I am continuing with but these are also mainly off road and I really am so much slower on grass/trail than other people 🤷♀️
Really really loving being back running, and I genuinely think it makes me a better mummy when I go back home

WW, yes it is the crowding at parkrun, and my regular (Witney) is not a fast course because of the terrain. There’s been a max of about 80 participants in this evening series so there is very little congestion at the start.

Gymfreak - I can tell you're really loving your running at the moment.
Always tricky with an off road race to try and set a target.
I've got Yeovil marathon on Sunday, flat course, can sometimes be a little warm. But I've always run badly at this race and blamed it on being a week after DD, so hoping that as I only did 20 of DD I might do slightly better, we'll see. DD is the only race I don't recover quickly from.

Great running Columba. Which parkrun and did the result come as a surprise?
Anyone else got aspirations next week?

Well done Columba.👏👏👏👏
Aspirations for today are to just to complete a very hilly, off road 10k. If I get anywhere near 60% I’ll be extremely surprised! My aim is to treat it not so much as a race but more like a long slow run with added hills for spice!

Yayyyyy well done Columba!!
I might give the off road 10k a miss this week and try one the next week. My insides are a bit sore 😕 I think it’s the impact of faster running on tarmac. Hamstrings not too good either!
