I ran a 5K this evening in very wet conditions. Was taking it easy, as the 10K tomorrow is my main aim, but still managed 60.71%. That means if I achieve 60% tomorrow, I'll have a 60% standard as well. Given I've managed 60.7% twice in the last week, once on a hilly course, and once at less than 100% effort, think 61% should be on the cards. Here's hoping.

Good results Deinonychus. Hope you bag the 60+ tomorrow. Lets us know.
Whilst the rain was not great tonight it was mild. Splish, splash.

Phew! I just made it. Official times published and I lost one second on my recorded Garmin time so 60.24% which considering everything I'm pleased with.

WW - great running, you did it.
Deinonychus - good luck tonight
Gymfreak - hope you're feeling better soon and that niggle clears up too.
No more races for me now until the 4th July, my first and probably only 10k this year.

I'm not that keen on 10k's, 5 miles or 6 miles or 3k's.
They hurt!
