Thanks Treacle :-) I can confirm that running first thing in the morning with very little wind seems to suit me better. Did a full complement of intervals for Project Joker before work this morning, which has given me almost another hour on my total training time and nearly 5 miles on my run total. Just a long run to tick off this week now.

Great work Scribbler you’ll be seeing sone amazing results soon.

Back from the docs lungs have improved I don’t need more AB’s but still far from well. I’ve opted to take another week off feeling very guilty but I think I need to look after me and get well before I go back. I will still be found under a blanket for the foreseeable.

I’m accepting of the lack of mileage I can’t see it improving anytime soon, as you’ve all said I have 11 months to make it up. Thanks for the kind words and get well wishes.

That sounds sensible GG, and glad that you're improving. Blankets have magic healing powers, or at least feel like they do sometimes.

I've managed 4 miles this week so far, with another 3 planned over the weekend if I can find to squeeze them in. Slowly making progress up the target table, and I think I might have to celebrate with cake when I finally reach positive percentages!

Why did I look at the leaderboard 😩

Most not look at the leaderboard ... must not worry about mileages and targets slipping away. Must be grateful it’s illness not injury.

In all honesty I don’t have the strength to worry about it.

Great progress Wednesday Mouse and 🍰 or 🍷 is good reward to such achievements!!

I’ve not achieved my 🖤 and consequently no ❤️ either.
I’ve picked up over the last two months of 2019 but still 20% short. Never mind, there’s still eleven months left 😀

You’re all very quiet... maybe our clocking up the miles.

Still very little movement from me it appears I now have a respiring infection. Sick of my life. But getting lots of Oz planning done and actually up and about a bit mire so things are improving slowly. Still struggling with tiredness but sure that will soon perk up too.

Hope you’re all ok. Scribbler hope work is going better

I got my 3 miles at the weekend :)

I was meant to do 3 miles yesterday, but my calves were really tight and I cut it short after the first mile. Making up for it tonight with a 5k race though!

Wednesday Mouse, I hope the race went well.

GG, I'm glad that you're getting small signs of improvement. I see that you've been getting out and doing some walking, which is good anyway. Make sure you're properly better before you go back to work.

*EDIT* in the current situation we are not entering races but I think we can still log any plans we may have over the coming months, whether it is learning a new skill, ticking jobs off a list, moving house(!), doing alternative exercise, aiming for training hours instead of miles, writing to family & friends, finding inventive ways to be together virtually or even entering virus races please fill in the planner and I’ll update this thread and keep our little social group going to share our goals.
