Another 3 miles in the bag today. Not as magical as yesterday, just a dull plod home from the swimming along the ring road. Treated myself to a can of coke when I got to tesco.

Great work Treacle, 5 miles is not too shabby at all!! Whoop!
I am still struggling to think about standing up and walking so no running on the radar for a while yet.
I have signed up for a favourite race not until July, The Northumberland Coastal Run. I have a love hate relationship with it but its so pretty I do love it. First time it turned out I stress fractured my foot, 2nd the weather wasn't kind, so hoping for a nice sunny injry free 3rd attempt.

Happy Friday treacle! 5 miles is excellent!
No running for me today, but I've got 4.5 miles planned over the weekend.

GG, if you're just not feeling well, don't rush back into running, but get yourself better first. After that, you might need to ease into running gradually, according to how you feel. Still I don't suppose it will be long before you are knocking out those 20 mile sprints before breakfast - or perhaps not!
Treacle you seem to be doing well. Great stuff!
No running for me today, but tomorrow I hope to do some 'sharpening up' on the track.

We have arrived at our home for the night. A beautiful old and sprawling hotel on the borders. Macdonald Marine & Spa it is right on the beach my plan had been to be up and out at 6.30 for an hours run along the beach. But this cold has other ideas. I’m feeling better in so far as I can remain upright but it’s turned into a head cold and I’m trying to play down the cough for fear of others thinking I have wuhan flu!
So a walk along the beach with MrGG instead which will be nice too.

Four miles on Wednesday and five miles this afternoon (when I think I saw a barn owl in flight!) has boosted my total but I’m still a bit off a 🖤 so far.
I have to try to find a way to get over the pain I’m having in my glute/thigh, and thanks to coming into the 21st century by acquiring a smart phone, I was able to download Johnny Walker’s Sounds of the Seventies, which was a nice distraction today.

Glute pain may be piriformis (or how we you spell it on this daft Japanese phone) cricket ball in your buttocks required!
But in reality get it checked out and get tut treated accordingly.
Great running always fantastic to see wildlife on a run - magic.

Higher hamstring Tendinopathy is the diagnosis but because I’m all mis-shapen, the physio has given me three sheets of excercises to carry on with.
