New Lia Kohl lp is excellent. Cello, radio broadcasts, melancholy. The new Lonnie Holley one have been browsing on bandcamp finding quite a bit to like. And the H Hawkline is definitely for fans of Super Furries maudlin side/Gruff Rhys in ballad mode.

The Slow readers club's latest album - knowledge, freedom, power is very good and I'm enjoying it a lot. Fans of White lies, Editors and the likes would probably like it.

Thanks for the recommendation, tailor made for me :) First listen on the way to the office (and the end for a little of the way back), thought it was a slow start, but found I was rather enjoying it by the time I got to work. Will return for further listens.

I had a listen to the Slow Reader's CLub one yesterday whilst working. Liked it but need to listen more actively next time.

I'm with Diogenes on Sleaford Mods. Listening to them feels like being in a crowded Wetherspoons ten minutes before last orders somehow. I mean, I get the sentiment, I understand the anger...but I don't want it battered into my skull in that fashion...

Their collaboration with Orbital is good.
