Flitting between the M83 album and Lana Del Ray's new one. Two totally different sounds.

Need to put the reviews for the last few albums I've listened to up, overall up to about 160 albums listened to, slowed down lately as work has got in the way of sitting around listening to music.

Nice one Dave G. That’s good to hear.

Remember listening to Encore by the Specials when it came out - yep, some decent stuff in there.

Pedro - some going with the amount you e listened to :)

Think I'm past that but am going to step away now for a while. Is my acid test.

New Black Country New Roads excellent too.

But is time for Depeche Mode...

Quite enjoying Flyying Colours the last few days, thank you to whoever recommended that!
But my most listened to thing the last week or so is the second EP by Gretel Hänlyn, "Head Of The Love Club". It's 8 tracks, so nearly an album, right? Grungy indie rock with a couple of killer singles, it's very much up my street :)

I've classed it as an album and reviewed it , definitely a good one.

New Arooj Aftab is pretty phenomenal, for anyone who caught her last one Vulture Prince, this one with Vijay Iyer and Shazad Ismaily is more free form and elongated, melancholic spaces to get lost in, but definitely cut from the same cloth.
