Looby Loo
I’m glad to be heading to Ireland for 5 nights to see my Dad. Although the weather looks nice it’s about 5 degrees cooler which will help. Glad you’re getting your “hornets” sorted HS and hope it wasn’t too hot if you headed out to do your run.

I hope that you have a lovely time LL with your Dad in Ireland.

Thanks, the Hornet treatment seems to have done the trick, as I haven't seen any now flying around. Fingers crossed that I won't have to call the terminator back tomorrow 🤞

I don't think that I will run now, as it is very warm, and the extra rest day will probably be beneficial.

Have a great time with your dad Looby.
Glad you got your hornets nest sorted. I’ve got a real fear of hornets after my friend and I got chased by them when we were small, we chucked our ice creams at them as we ran into the cafe and shut the door.

I can't understand why you want to retire EvilPixie as you won't have so much time to Fetch as you do currently. 🤣🤣

That must have been scary Jaks, being chased by hornets.

I only intended to walk to the post box to post a birthday card, but as I hadn't been for a run, I decided to keep walking. Only 1.I miles, but better than staying indoors 🚶🏻‍♂️

Ugh to hornets hs! Ugh too (because you mentioned it!) to the increase price in first class postage stamps. The slow demise of physical cards/letters being sent will inevitably continue.
Have a super time in Ireland LL.
999 miles EPix! Fabulous, you will have hit the 1000 by now.
Did 4.25 miles mainly along shady river banks on what was the warmest early morning outing I've experienced for years. 20c though was quite ok, that extra few degrees later in the day is what makes it tough!

didn't run this morning Steve so still waiting!!
I saw somewhere that stamps were now £10 a book
we only send birthday/Christmas cars and then use second class as so expensive
my in-laws didn't get any post for 2 weeks as the postie was on holiday!
I'm very glad I have cut back this week and only doing a shorter run this weekend - going to be silly hot still
last big one next week with a last 14-15m before I properly taper

Well done on your run this morning Steve.

I really struggle running in the heat so I’ve been out earlier the last couple of mornings.

It was very warm and humid this morning but managed 4 miles.
