EP, I seem to have missed your 999 miles, well done!

I see that you send cars 🚗 for birthdays and Christmas 🤣

I send very few cards these days Steve, and only to relatives. These get less every year as they pass away.

Well done for your morning run.

Well done Jaks for managing 4 miles this morning in the heat 🌞

It was very hot for my solo 5 mile hilly road run this morning. I can't recall ever sweating so much. It kept getting in my eyes which stings.😅🥵

Off topic, but a sign of the times, the last Bank in the village closed on Tuesday. There will, however, be a banking hub one day a month in the public library.

Glad I wasn’t the only one sweating buckets this morning 😜.

Well done on your hilly 5 miles hillstrider.

Well done for braving the heat Jaks and HS.
I did my structured Fartlek this morning which is a 5 miler. I too loathe running when it’s too warm. I won’t reach my 1000 but I’m following a plan so don’t want to affect that by adding quantity.

It's warm here again today, well done to those who brave it. I was up at the crack of dawn (literally) and got 5.5 in. It wasn't too hot and a lovely morning. Then went out bramble picking with the wee man - we got lots.

I haven't bought stamps for ages, but can understand why they cost so much.

Our town used to have 4 banks we only have one now. The RBS mobile van does visit once a week. It's sad to see but again everything is done online, my bank is online only.

My running has suddenly ground to a halt today following a positive Covid result. It appeared to be rather a bad cold which stopped me running yesterday, but it was the dreaded Covid. That will mean no running for possibly 10-12 days.

Oh dear Evangel what a shame just when you were building up again. I hope your symptoms aren’t too severe and you recover quickly.
