Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

About Me
►2014 I’ve learned so much about myself in the last 12 months. I’m Making Tracks.
►2013 my self-esteem has taken a hammering after my memory and speed of thinking continually let me down at work and at play. In July 2013 I admitted I’d suffered a “major depressive episode” and agreed to get some help. It’s taken me 12 months to dig myself back out to ground level. ◄
►2012 finds me much recovered. Slowly I've rebuilt my fitness, focusing on baby steps and in June I completed my second sprint tri. (I'm still in love with that Fetchie by the way)◄.

►In July 2011 I had a serious cycling accident- I hit a pot hole and went flying over the handle bars. Despite wearing a helmet I sustained a head injury and cracked a couple of bones in my neck.◄.
►2010 I’m still madly in love with a Fetchie but neither of us are running much. 2011, we must do better! ◄
► 2009 Successful knee surgery in June and now slowly, slowly building up my fitness. Hoping for a new 5k pb by the end of the year.◄.

►In 2008 with my self-esteem flourishing, I wasted money joining a dating website and then met a lovely man through a well know running website. A blip in my health meant I ran a few less miles but managed still managed to complete my first super-sprint Triathlon◄.

►I started running in Jan 2005 when I weighed 93kg and could barely run/walk 4 x 60 seconds. In June 2005 I was delighted to finish my first 5k race in 38 mins. Onwards and upwards - 20kgs lighter and a growing self-esteem, I found the courage to end my relationship with a social alcoholic and ran FLM 2007 in memory of my Mum◄.
