B I have not been training specifically for 10k and lack speed endurance. This really isn't my distance so I would be pleased to beat my Pb of 42 mins. Didn't get a 10k PB but did better my time on this course last year by 28 seconds. I was looking for a solid, evenly paced run as pacing is my biggest failing. I managed just that with fairly consistent KM splits and an overall negative split. I probably gave myself a bit of an easy time of it, but it's probably the best race I've ever done in terms of even running! I'm happy.

Cormorant I did this last year and it's a nice event round a mostly flat square - although the event's big enough now to need chip timing and water on the course'd be nice. The last km is downhill, which is a blessing of course. I used to run with a woman who thought you could just go out and run a race up to 10K without any training. She's wrong. I hurt. Still, this was only a few seconds slower than last year's time, when I was training for the FLM.

Em Havent done much recently due to being ill, dont like this run much so am going out just to get round and use it for training for end of month race. Might wear my fetch t.shirt. ****UPDATE**** Did wear my fetch shirt and not sure if I was passed just by the finishline by another fetch vest, female, wasnt looking forward to t his as had a late night babysitting and still suffering with bit of an upset tummy. Running Postie opted to watch with Pebbles. Fairly even run, cant beleive the traffic in amongst the runners, feel the organisers should go for a rolling road block until Lavant. Thank you to the nice Chichester Runners man who got me through Lavant and the hills, manaegd to finish without feeling sick or desperately needing the toilet!!!!

Making_Tracks PB of 56:03 from Brighton 10k late last year. Upped my training mileage in preparation for FLM and started to do some more serious speed work so will be interesting to see if this pays off. *update* New PB by 3:50 (WOW!) Heart rate monitoring training and increased mileage has paid off or was it the new Adidas Shorts with the go fast stripe.

Nay A great run - lovely conditions and a scenic route. Bit pissed off that times went on gun timings - made me come in over the hour! My garmin tells me differently - 59.22, so I'm sticking with that! Really enjoyed it, being only my 2nd 10K.
