Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sushi Did set out a little quicker than should have- 8.30-8.40m/m. All well till the second water station- it was cups so had to slow to a walk. Had been steady at around 8.45-8.50m/m for the previous few but as soon as i started running again my left ham had tightened and i really struggled to keep the pace.
Bit disheartening to go from fine to struggling so suddenly but not making excuses. still pleased with the result. Those who bet on me get points- Pb by 57secs. just missed my sub1:55 by 28secs.
Thanks to Workersplaytime for running that last mile back with me. You kept me going. Thanks for you company in the earlier stages too

WorkersPlaytime Great race, ideal weather and the pleasure of meeting Sioux too! Hope the hamstring is OK. Struggled between 8 and 10 miles but managed to get going again thanks to the miracle of gels. Felt strong at the end, but not strong enough for another 13 miles. Some bara brith and aching knees to look forward to tomorrow...
