About Me
I've been running since October 2003 when my Brother-in-Law encouraged me to enter a race. I had previously run cross country in school many years before, and had been a very good sprinter. Having given up football (injuries and too old) and cricket (could not commit the time and was not enjoying it), I needed something that would keep me fit and keep me competitive. I have subsequently suffered with stress and depression and running has become my "pressure valve", and has kept me sane!!! I love running and racing in particular, and although I may never set the world on fire at my age, I am constantly looking to improve my times, and believe that there is still a lot more to come.
