ChrisU A steady training run after the Durisdeer hill race yesterday. No speed in the legs until the final kilometre, which was the only kilometre I managed at sub 35 pace.

Sunbed Athlete Took 18th place with this time.Got £20 in Asics vouchers for the position & the same for taking 2nd team in the Scottish Athletics Road Race Championships but no medal as the OLD FARTS @ SAHQ have somehow decided to just award medals for 1st placed teams.
Felt ok considering my recent injury but it held up ok before, during & after so plus side there.

connelld I was hoping for great things but course was harder than expected. Some good (for me) 1k's (3.46) but some of the below 4.00. Fellow Killie Harrier. Les McDerment, got a PB here (39:05) so obviously it's just a case of getting it right. Good day, alright run and free shades.

Ticketyboo Apologies to all other runners, just getting over a head cold and struggled to keep the airways clear (it was not pretty). Slowed quite badly over the last 2 miles but managed to hold my position. (Finishing position 50 out of 658)

Vic Mason Can the Fannymeister make it 4 in a row? PB'd 3 of the Polaroids so far & would be good to finish on a high! It could be a hit or miss tho' as there is a 1.5k incline added for good measure. That said I might just be able to shave off a couple of more seconds. Is it worth a bet?? *** UPDATE*** No BP today...Sorry to all who had a bet. Woke up this morning with a hangover & the only thing I drank the night before was water! Head & throat were a little sore which I reckon is hayfevever so I ended up blowing out of my backside all the way round. Cracking day over a fantastic testing scenic course with loads of support on a very well organised course. Finishing position 74th out of 658.
