Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

DaveH Good fun, although a little crowded at the start then pretty lonely towards the end. After a slow start, went at PMP-10 and felt strong-ish.

tom_craggs **Chip Time**Aim to run at PMP. Bit fast than that but not raced, still very controlled. Felt very comfortable and legs very fresh at end. Reackon I could keep this pace for another 4-5 miles. Very pleased. Nice big negative split too. 25th on gun time.

smoke free first time at this distance and longest run for a year!! Have decided to do it as we need a break after this last ten days, so lack of sleep and emotional wreckage may hamper any decent running.
Will run in honour of my treasured sister, RIP Karen 1965 - 2009 xxxx
UPDATE - back from Kinston now - ran a pretty even paced race in glorious sunshine and make it a fitting tribute to KAren who was so proud of me running

Hackett Felt good despite no fuelling up prior to race .. First 2 miles not fluent but got into rythmn along the towpath and soon in zone .. Second lap felt ok, glute a little tight and was amazed at time I felt comfortable and that was 20 mins quicker than marathon pace. 1:57:30

anne23 Enjoyed it last year, will put some effort in this time. UPDATE: went perfectly (apart from slight hamstring problems leftover from Reading last week). This race is great. And possibly the flattest race in the world.

Little Nemo I want to run this with no walk breaks which will make it my longest complete run ever! Would also like to not be overtaken by a man skipping this time! *** Had a good run but did have to stop a couple of times to walk. Stuffed up the start as I was late so my time isn't as fast as it really was but still a PB!!!
