Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Running Beans Been a few years since I have run a Marathon, but feel I am capabile of going below 3 hours going with other race distance times. I dont want to push my luck however as all the other marathons that I have done starting with my first which was my best have sadly gone wrong and got progresivly worse.

This will not be taking place as I got bedded down with the cold just after christams and missed training and dusiquently the entry was never sent in.

Big Al Widepants No presh but I HAVE to break 4 this time. FLM 2004 was the start of it. Moray 2006 was nearly there. Dublin 2006 was an illness affected backward step. Surely 40 miles a week must count for something. Trying HRM training this time. UPDATE: In taper mode now having done all the training. Wee shoulder injury which should clear up in time. There will be no excuses. UPDATE: Quite simply the best running experience of my life.

SueW In truth I'd settle for anything under 4 hours. I'd be thrilled and challenged to reach 3:50!

Update - I struggled today and finished outside my target time of 4 hours. I'm really disappointed! Only good point is that my time was more than 50 minutes faster than the only other time I've run at Lochaber in 2005. Sorry to those who bet on me and lost points...........

fatface Knee injury has nearly cleared up, so Lochaber is back on. My secret desire of sub 4 is now highly unlikely, but I reckon a PB is very attainable. I'm betting me anyway ;-)
