Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

DaveH Greatly enjoyed this race apart from the masive stitch in the Memorial Park - I blame the slightly contrived route through it.

paul the builder First time over 13.1, and going back to my home town to do it. 2 x 10 mile races point to around 1:48....
UPDATE - crikey, what a good prediction. And I'm really pleased to have my first HM under my belt, run pretty much as I expected. I ran first 5 miles with a mate who was always going to be slower (and came in about 2:05) nice and comfortable in around 42:30, then steady-ish 8:00-8:10 miles from there to home. The memorial park brought so many bad memories of school cross-country flooding back, and they made it tough by putting an unexpectedly snakey path through it - psychologically horrible if you know where the exit is, and then you have to run away from it...
Others have said, and I fully agree - this is a really well planned and executed event, and I hope it becomes bigger and bigger (from the c. 1800 HM field this year).

Seagrave Had serious energy issues on mile 9. Had to work very hard in last 4.5 miles, a bit of a disappointing time!

Ricardo Very enjoyable, with a few steep hills especially the one right near the end, that was a bit of a surprise! Support was good especially from the University cheer leaders, they should be mandatory for every race!! Best goodie bag so far and a t-shirt to boot.

taulpaul Was quite surprised by the amount of hills on this course and how mean putting one in there after 12 miles. Great goody bag, medal and t-shirt. Very well organised and would definitely recommend this one...
Happy with my time as haven't trained that much so was never gonna be that good

Nightjar An excellent race with good atmosphere and support. Interesting route took in lots of green spaces so was fairly scenic. I took this race fairly easily due to some injuries so I was pleased with the time.

CD Very well organised race with a surprising variety of terrain due to part of the run being through Warwick University an a number of city parks. We effectively ran from Coventry University to Warwick University. Great set of cheerleaders at Warwick University who cheered us on our way. Great atmosphere and good support en route. Generous goody bag and good quality T shirt with an interesting design on it.

Johnny Blaze A PB for me, and really hard as well. Some quite hard slopes but really pleased with my time even though I did end up walking once or twice.
