muimhneach New course this year. Started in portinscale - narrow start. Into and out of Newland valley. Nasty climb in the 6th mile upto Cat Bells. Probably even worse then the one on the usual route. Slight change in the last mile and no lap of rugby club field. Still a great run with stunning views. easily my favourite race ever!

stanky Loved it. Was a bit undulating (ha-ha) but I still managed to knock almost 25 mins off my half marathon pb. Can't wait for the Great North run now

northernrunner went off way to fast. i was 3rd for the first mile then dropped down a few places and was going between 5th and 6th but then there was a long decent and what i thought would happen did happen. im great at running up hills but hopeless at running down and could hear the footsteps of the people gaining behind me then passing me and there was nothing i could do about it. by the time it leveled off again i was down to 9th where i finished
