bedlam_g Another sub 34 attempt, another big fail. Very warm just about held it together into the mostly warm head wind till 5k then lost the edge to the finish. Despite being knackered I seemed to gain quite a few places in the second half and should have finished ahead of another 3 runners I caught, overtook and let go again another in the last mile. 14th place and prize for 2nd team again. Maybe need to lower my sights again for a few weeks.

hannkies Very poor performance, and need to sort it out. Still in marathon mode I suspect and I wouldn't swap my Lochaber run, but seem to have no zip in my legs and ended up going through the motions a bit after the first 4k which is well out of character. Still, no-one died, and probably feel as fit as ever having said all that so with a bit of luck things will just click, but last night wasn't good at all. Good to see Greg and others still flying, and good runs by a number of other folk in warm conditions. Finished 26th.

wil e coyote actual time probably worse than this as I deleted straight off. couldn't get going at all tonight and I was in a confident mood after clydebank. way too warm. but could have been something to do with moving 5T of top soil and turf in the afternoon as I'm in gardening mode right now!! anyway, cracking event. travelled up with Scott and back with him and Andy T - good crack in the car. anyway roadshow moves on to VoL for another bash.
