Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

tom_craggs 34/29,000 Poor run today aiming for 36.30. Although I did measure the course as quite long and had had a total of 2 hours sleep. Lost all my form over the last 3km after a good start. Very nice course but organisation poor, would not run this again even with work paying!

becca7 Garmin measured the course as significantly longer than 10km, so should be pleased with a time within a few seconds of my pb. Encountered fewer traffic problems than in previous years, although quite a few coming back at me in the last km made that a bit hairy. If you shelled out for a chip, the results are available on chiptiming.co.uk.

Almostbarefoot bad start, not graded according to expected finish time so loads of people who run 100 yds then walk!! Not as good as the BUPA 10k. probably won't enter next year.

Essex Dave Despite the wait to get over the start line, I had a really enjoyable day. The people walking it didn't bother me, expected at a race like this- it was the bloody people crossing the road that got on my nerves, kept putting me off my (very slow) stride...

Puffing Billy Nice route but totally crap organisation. Approx 40 toilets for 28,000 people. Hardly a steward to be seen. It was no fun running 10k in desperate need of the loo. Waited an hour at the start to begin running - nearly went home without bothering. Then spent 10k dodging round walkers. Not impressed and definitely NEVER AGAIN. Compared to the BUPA 10k this event is rubbish.

SarahBoots (Solitude_Fairy) Running with Dad. We had a fab time. We love this race, and will be going again next year, according to Dad! Rather warm, but loved it. Some very uneven splits, but average pace was what we wanted. It was treated as a run at half mara pace. We had great fun.

Lully Dire organisation. An hour to cross the starting line, massive queues for the loo, water stations ran out, no one to take chips off at the end, ran out of goody bags at the end, course length 400m too long. Not much left to go wrong, really

V_V This was my first running event and my goal was just to keep running and compleate it without walking, so I didn't actually take my time to the minute, I just know that it was just over an hour so my compleation time is a best guess I'm afraid.
