I use the racing as it helps me find that last 5%

I have the gralloch in 10 days and in the last 2 weeks have seen some of my best numbers since lockdown

I find the timing of it quite interesting.

I can only assume it's because those of us that cancel every summer, are more likely to have forgotten about the previous price when winter returns. Also if they did it in winter, we'd all seek out alternatives and then become less likely to return, having become comfortably ensconced in some other option.

I've just realised that I switched to annual payments earlier this year so I have a bit more time to think about it.

I don't race but like using pace partners and group rides for endurance rides to keep me roughly in the right place but without the dullness of a workout.

Just ordered a reconditioned Wattbike. My road bike that was on my current turbo trainer is well, well past its best, and a couple of things broke on it last week. I priced up the parts and it’s just not worth it for that bike (11yr old Specialized Allez), so put it towards the Wattbike. It should be here in a couple of weeks.

Wattbike Atom, ‘next generation’, although that’s the only generation they had as far as I could see.

Just found this group. I’ve got a Wattbike. Bought in last October. Use Zwift and Training Peaks for custom workouts by my Tri Coach as I’m slowly returning to Ironman fitness

I don’t usually ride outside but today borrowed an e-bike from my in-laws here in Netherlands.

Seems the power/speed I had on the e-bike corresponds nicely to what I see on Zwift….

…joking!!
