It's not a poor deal if you use it regularly like my wife does. But I don't, I've been off for a while and when I want a bit of Z2 on the trainer these days I watch other videos. With erg mode power set so I can't slack off.

My issue is that it isn't the only app I use - I use Join and Training Peaks too so it could start to add up. It all syncs through smoothly and I like the setup, but I could just run a workout from Join or my garmin and watch something else.
Usually I just let my membership run 12 months a year, but usually there are a few months over summer where I barely use it and might now be more inclined to pause it (e.g. there's a month where I could easily pause it to cover a 2 week holiday and a week either side without any real detriment).

So mine still gets regular use as I can't be arsed to go outside at 6am every day.
My wife's is only used once or twice a week but it is worth keeping for the motivation factor.
As others have said if they had raised prices a pound year nobody would have flinched.
I'm more likely to end my training peaks subscription really as I have a copy of WKO locally which is pretty good for me.

I don't use it that much and I always stop it during summer. I joined in 2017 and I have only got to level 47. I was going to keep it running through summer this year but I won't now. I will probably try something else next autumn. They hiked it £5 last time too. I don't think it's worth £18 to me. I may use it for a condensed period in the depths of winter if I am riding a lot.

Whereas I joined in lockdown April 2020 and I'm level 89 and will be 90 before the week is out

I use BKOOL, it doesn't really have the gamification of Zwift which, truth be told, is why I use it. My last subscription for a year, in October, was £90 but I think it may have gone up a little since then.

Price hike is a bit steep for me (as I only use it once a week for a workout, not bothered about the racing or anything like that) so am going to explore other options.

I’m keeping it and will be sure to use it more.

It's still cheap if you use it I don't think it's worth it for me now in summer- I'll cancel mine. I have too many fitness subscriptions- I pay monthly for a 3x week bootcamp which isn't cheap but worth it as I love it, then a nominal £15 month pilates subscription and £5 Les Mills online. I also really only have my apple music subscription for running, not even sure what that costs- £10 month maybe? This is probably one I just don't need in summer, I only ride usually 3x week anyway, and in the summer these are almost all outside as it's unlikely to p*ss it down all day and there's usually a dry window. So it's pushed me to cancel. Agree a smaller increase and nobody would have noticed. I'll resubscribe when it gets dark and horrible unless there are other similar things out there, I don't have a clue. I definitely don't use it to it's full capacity, I don't race or anything so something more 'simple' would also work

The racing ecosystem is certainly fun if that’s your thing, I had a great couple of years during Covid. But there are plenty of good alternatives for solo workouts.
