I think it’s still quite cheap tbh but it’s a big rise. Ratcheting it up a bit more gently over the last few years would probably have been easier to swallow. I have an annual subscription from when I bought my ZwiftHub. Not sure when it runs out tbh but when I fat the renewal notice it’ll defo make me think.

Nelly, I don’t use TP, but this suggests it can be linked to Whoosh.

mywhoosh.com

Functionality is very similar to Zwift. I saw mention that a couple of key Zwift people went over to Whoosh, and a lot of it is similar, just different worlds. UI is different and took a bit of getting used to, but that is just because I’m used to Zwift. But it doesn’t feel as social and although Whoosh are apparently investing in racing, there were nowhere near as many options when I tried it. And whilst doing free rides, it was often very, very quiet. Also, because Zwift has so many users, it is easier to find teams for TTTs etc, which I enjoy. I confess I didn’t try really hard, but from a quick Google and search on Facebook groups, I didn’t find anything suitable in terms of a team to join. But I expect when numbers get higher the social/team options will improve.

For now, for me, in summer when I may unsubscribe from Zwift, I may jump on Whoosh if I fancy an indoor ride, but I’d probably use the free 25km (or whatever it is) on Zwift first if it was a one off ride.

Have to say i don't use anything like the full functionality of zwift it just entertains me slightly in the dark months when i can be motivated in train, so i think i'm gonna cancel and re-evaluate in the autumn

My subscription just runs, I use it a lot and even with the rise it's still not really expensive. I should hit level 90 today or tomorrow.

I was a bit shocked by the size of the price hike however compared with gym memberships, and other platforms it’s still not bad value. I’ll keep paying as my bike is in my garage so requires little effort for the exercise reward.

As always, DC Rainmaker has a article worth reading on the subject... dcrainmaker.com

As others have said, if the increase was more gradual then the reaction may not have been so extreme.
