I had that earlier in the year. I went from an early season training for steep hills on the Fred Whitton, only pushing when terrain forced it. I came to try some flat TTs and power lacked and could barely walk or even sit after a 25!

I was only there to see if I could ride an adapted position and I could. Maybe next year I'll actually become a tester again....

I notice meanwhile MyWhoosh had a massive update and is now resembling Zwift even more. It's more like Zwift in the earlier days now, they're introducing a premium service, but still looks like a lot of the basic stuff is all free.

Got grouvy on ROUVY (code AMY = free month on top on free week). Spent a fair bit of time on this app over the summer - really like it. The AR, the workouts - not raced and think it’s not got lots of supporter for that.

I also switched to Rouvy following the Zwift price increase - the duo plan for me and my husband is cheaper than a plan for one person on Zwift. I actually prefer it - really enjoying the workouts.

FTP tested on Tuesday, done on ZWIFT so I could control conditions. Nice to confirm the numbers for my threshold and Sweet spot work.

That said, I'm largely riding outside at the moment as CX season properly starts on the 8th September so need the bike skills work.

Come October/November I expect to be inside most of the week and just outside at weekends so should "complete" ZWIFT before the year is out.

6 races into CX season , being lighter and focused has got me moving faster earlier in the year which is nice.

That said I've also gone through level 99 on ZWIFT

Nice.

I got a bit disillusioned with racing on Zwift earlier this year, I have a fairly decent critical power but I always seemed to end up in a category that was just a bit too hard for me to be competitive in, but I've started doing races graded by Racing Score zwiftinsider.com

Often, the racing score categories are quite narrow (tonight for instance there are two races, divided into 5 categories each) , so I can get a good race out of it. If I have a bad race, the score goes down a bit almost immediately as it calculates it against the race, rather than power. Recent races have seen me go C-B-A-B in the 'low end' races. I have yet to see how quickly the score decays.
