Me too. Time to get some use out of Zwift and the trainer. Got to justify it's existence somehow.

Just finished the 6th academy ride, but half way through disaster the cable to the derailleur snapped.... managed to complete it on a big gear - how easy is it to replace? Or am I doing the baseline ride on Monday effectively on a fixed gear?

Should be quite an easy job and we’ll worth learning.

As a stop-gap, you should be able to either use adjustment screws or tie up the broken bit of cable to set yourself in an intermediate gear rather than heaviest. You can also set trainer difficulty to (near-)zero so the hills won’t be too hard. You still have to do the watts, it’s not cheating!

Is it internal routing (i.e. cable goes through frame?). If so it can be an arse, but otherwise unless it's snapped in the shifter is a fairly easy task. Getting the indexing fine can take patience, but generally not too hard a job.

Oh great - Oct 10th on Zwift Academy actually means Oct 9th . So my interface has been telling me Oct 10th throughout, but looking everywhere else it finished on the 9th sigh.

So I'd built my running/cycling plan around this, knowing I'd have lunch time today free to Zwift. Really the graphic should be amended (and yes technically I know it means I could have done it up til 8.59 this morning but this is dog walking time.).

All the online docs are Oct 9th sigh, so why is the main graphic in Zwift Oct 10th? Obviously annoyed.

Happy ending - of course it's Legends and Lava, so did that as "finish line" ride, and the results are in 8 minutes quicker over the entire course, first KOM 16 seconds quicker, sprint one 1 and a half seconds quicker, and final one 2 and a half minutes quicker, all on a fixed tough gear. Not quite up to my speed of a year and a half ago, but definitely going the right way.

Still zwifting on a non-gear bike. Are derailleur cables standard, company specific, or something in between? What do I need to shop for please?
