Pretty standard Chrisull make sure you get gear cable rather than brake cables which are thicker due to the additional importance of stopping safely :-)

There are slight differences between road and MTB cable ends, but beyond that are essentially the same. Only thing beyond that is length, but unless your frame is huge (or a tandem), you shouldn't have an issue.

Am I in the right place?

I have a bike, a cheap trainer, a zwift trial account ready to start...

I guess I need a speed sensor? Do I need a cadence sensor or will it be fine without?

Not looking for the best set up ever, just want to get started for now.

Thinking this: amazon.co.uk

Hi RR.

I'm assuming it's a basic wheel-on trainer. If so you should just need a speed sensor.

It's worth checking if your turbo is on the list of supported ones, in which case you're largely good to go once you've paired it to whatever you're running Zwift on. If it's not listed then there is an option to contact Zwift for advice.

Have fun

Sorry, not following why I would need Zwift to support the trainer? That's just what allows me to pedal the bike indoors?
