You will all be disgusted at my weak resolve, but I've been tempted away from the baseline ride by a dog walk at the beach followed by a pint at my favourite craft ale micropub

There still seems to be many people have problems but I redid the Baseline Ride today and it appears to have worked. Banding was turned off, which was the main thing as, for me, with the banding turned on my sprint was significantly slower.
Today my sprint was where I’d expect it to be, and the other two were marginally better than previously, probably because I was more used to the course and effort etc.
Today’s ride is already in Zwift Companion under the Zwift Academy section (along with the banded ride) and the times are correct.
Haven’t received the email yet. I wonder if my rider type may have changed because the sprint was much better today? (It appears many are having all sorts of problems with the content of the emails though).
I’m glad I managed to redo it.

I did the baseline a couple of days ago and never got an email. Not that bothered as I can see the numbers and compare to last year when I did the same route/test. About 40-50W down on the segments this time, which is fair enough as I haven't been zwifting much and wasn't really pushing it.

Zwift just emailed me my baseline numbers... without having to redo the ride.

Oh I'm a pursuiter (puncheur kind of type), which I pretty much knew already.

I just got the email following today’s ride and my rider type is the same - Time Trialist.

How does it equate with what you know about your running style? I'd say it's similar for me. I like short sharp steep hills, get over short bit of recovery then on to the next, but longer (and sometimes shallower) hills have always been kryptonite to me.

Certainly fits with me being a steady plodder with no (running) sprint. It was obvious from the ride itself, as I was cruising towards the back of the group and the live leaderboard put me around 50th percentile for the sprint, inside the top 10% for the long climb and in-between for the short climb. I think the email just summarises the same sort of analysis across the (much larger) number who have done the event up to the time the email was sent.
