Just redo the baseline ride, they claim to have fixed (be fixing) the problem for the future events. Luckily I haven't done it yet!

Well, stage 1 of ZRL was….disgusting! Recently a Cat B so I was off the back in about 5mins. A group of about 10 of us worked together through Titans Grove and then we spread out at the start of the final climb. I started the climb in about 58th and finished it in 49th so I was happy with my effort. Zero points for the team I’d imagine, and it was brutal, but it’s done.
I can’t do next week, which on balance I think I’m glad about!

I had fun, 15th was a better than I'd expected though I was a fair bit slower up the climb than when we did the same course in Feb after a winter of marathon training. I was trying to ride A cat back then which was basically hopeless for me in a top-fllght A1 division with a bunch of pros, a weak B2 division is much more suitable really!
Only 3 riders so zero points for all of us

The claim they are making is that the ride mechanics are now fixed but the emails are not yet working (but will also be fixed).

I got my corrected email from my baseline ride. It’s told me I’m a Time Trial type, which I knew as it was an iTT that got me into Cat B, but it’s good it confirmed that. I am not sure if I’ll have time to redo the baseline ride, but I’ll see how the week progresses.

I plan to redo the Baseline ride at 4pm today. Apparently I'm a time triallist type as well, however I completely missed the sprint during the first ride, so my results aren't valid at all.

I’ve had a proper look at my calendar, and as I’m not going ‘all out’ in tomorrow’s TTT as I’m in an easier team for me, I hope to redo the baseline ride on Friday AM. Then Workout 1 on Sat AM, Workout 2 Sunday PM and Workout 3 Tuesday AM. I’m then busy for a few days so unlikely to be able to do Workout 4 until the following Monday. It’s cramming quite a lot in, but if I want to do the workouts in order with a meaningful baseline, around juggling ‘life’, it should just about work. I’ve got no ZRL or TTT next week either.
Is a 4 week programme enough to see meaningful improvement? It actually seems quite a lot of work in a relatively short period.

It won't radically change your riding ability but can certainly boost your fitness especially if you're a bit off your best like I am currently. I'm aiming to fit it into 3 weeks cos that's all I've got. Oops make that 18 days....baseline today won't be a completely flat out effort, just a solid marker.
