When did you last give blood?

Bombardier Matt Jun 2009 9:26pm, 23 Jun 2009 3 posts	0 Bombardier Matt I had to stop giving platelets as the blood wouldn't go back in properly: after 3rd time with a forearm that was just one huge bruise we called it a day and now I just give blood (easily, as there is a permanent donation centre 2 mins from my office)

welly Jun 2009 10:58pm, 23 Jun 2009 3,936 posts	0 welly a couple of months ago, due to go back in August. Hadn't done it for a good few years before this year but my best friend had leukaemia last year and she would have died without blood and platelets.
lady alton Jun 2009 11:08pm, 23 Jun 2009 83 posts	0 lady alton I go every 6 months or so but more often or not the drop of blood refuses to sink! they sometimes then do the other test but not often pass that either! but I keep trying! OH goes more often and they always take his! I feel a bit second rate!
