Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Standard Keighley for me. I looked earlier and think it'll be my 74th there and 88th overall

A new parkrun started today in Totnes - Sharpham Estate parkrun - about 5 miles down the road from me. New Devon parkruns don’t come along that often, so it’s good to see another one. It’s mainly on a narrow tarmac path, is an out and back, and very hilly. Beautiful views over the River Dart though, and a very picturesque although challenging course. Pic doesn’t do it justice really.

How do we add a new parkrun to Fetch? Does Fetch do something to add them automatically, or can we add them ourselves? If we can add them ourselves, can someone point me in the right direction of how to do that?

I think they are automatically sucked in after the inaugural. Not sure about event 1 though

Went to Dunfermline. A bit brrr: 6°C, feels like 2. Signs of Spring, though it doesn't feel like it*. It was the founders 60th birthday, so she got a wee song and a cheer. Had a wee chat to her after and thanked her for starting the event. Apparently there had been an unofficial rave in the park last night ( :-o !) but the debris had been cleared up. And the bad section, with the speedbump, had been tarmacked and levelled within the last week, to general delight :-)

* Better than the minus 3 and de-icing the car of Monday. Inbetween, it's reached 15.
