Sushi.
Hi.
Just found this thread.
I'm a relative new (but old) parkrunner.
I joined in Nov '11 but up till last year had only run 4 parkruns in 4 different locations (and volunteered 5 times.)
Today I ran my 25th parkrun in my 25th different location. I guess its possibly time to settle on a 'home' location, though I think I'm also going to be a regular tourist.

Hellywobs, I’d say it’s a tougher course than Parke, although the surface is generally better (there is a section at the turnaround which isn’t great, but I suppose that will be okay when it’s dry). I don’t think there’s much, if any, flat so it’s either up or down, but it is very nice around there.
The funny thing was I was visiting my mum at the end of Feb and we went for a walk along the other side of the Dart; it's not a very long stretch, though nice and flat, and I said it was a shame you couldn't walk on the other side. And she said that you could, but it was too hilly for her (she's nearly 84) and explained how you got there. So I said next time I was down with my husband we'd go and explore - little did I know that a parkrun was planned

A new parkrun started today in Totnes - Sharpham Estate parkrun - about 5 miles down the road from me. New Devon parkruns don’t come along that often, so it’s good to see another one. It’s mainly on a narrow tarmac path, is an out and back, and very hilly. Beautiful views over the River Dart though, and a very picturesque although challenging course. Pic doesn’t do it justice really.
Looks good, they kept that very quiet! I had assumed that another one was due around Torquay, as this one isn't far from Velopark, but I guess it plugs a gap for people in Ashburton or Dartmouth.

HunkyTeddy, they were trying to keep it quiet as they were apparently a bit concerned about grumbles from dog walkers. It is quite a narrow path, so much so that double buggies aren’t allowed on the out-and-back course.

Hope I'm not tempting fate but if I do my sums right and miss 5 runs ( I can volunteer ) I aim to do my 360th parkrun on my 60th birthday this November 🤞🤞
