Sorry GG, I meant red heart. Just put it down to my age and geriatric state! That's my excuse for everything.

SB, well done on hitting your target.

Sorry, I'm a bit nosey and was looking at your past mileage, only 12 more for your highest year ever 😀 3 days to go, come on you can do it 👍🏃🏻

Well done everyone for another good year's running.

Injuries put pay to my target this year and I have only run once since the Brighton Marathon Edit in October. The latest being a slipped rib which is almost healed and I am looking to get out for a mile or two on New Year's Day to getting my 2021 target underway.

I did it 1000m hit for the year and currently an extra 2.

Huge well done SB and Phil injuries suck I hope you get it sorted and be back next year for another go.

I will set the group up again or ask fetch if we can update the title.

Thanks to everyone who contributes to the thread even if you don’t post often the messages can help support each other. I love this group so much.

Well done SB!

GG you don’t need to change the title! You already made it suitable for all years last year. :-)

Well done on hitting your targets GG and Strutbrother.

Phil, I hope that you can get back into the swing of it again next year. As GG says “injuries suck”!

I made my revised target of 300 miles today which was very satisfying.

Well done SB and GG! Amazing commitment.

I knew in November that I wouldn’t make 500 for the year when moving house knocked my running out for 3 weeks.

I’m just happy to trot out a few miles now as then and will think about fitness targets for next year. Everything is slow and easy at the moment!

About This Thread

Maintained by geordiegirl
*EDIT* in the current situation we are not entering races but I think we can still log any plans we may have over the coming months, whether it is learning a new skill, ticking jobs off a list, moving house(!), doing alternative exercise, aiming for training hours instead of miles, writing to family & friends, finding inventive ways to be together virtually or even entering virus races please fill in the planner and I’ll update this thread and keep our little social group going to share our goals.

Everyone is welcome, whether you don't want to set an official target or you may be aiming further but still want to pop by for a chat/offer some words of wisdom or just because the door is always open and kettle is on.

If you update the race planner after I've updated the header drop me an fmail or a reminder (or 2) on the thread so I know to update. Thanks
