Had a good attempt today and have logged 7:15. Think there might be a few seconds to find, will try again next week!

Good time WayOfTheDodo

Did mine today used the quickest mile according to Fetch from my virtual 5k
Pleased with a 6:15 only two seconds slower than my fastest time this year.

By virtue of getting holder since running the quickest time of the year today was however a WAVA PB for the year ๐Ÿ˜

Well done riggys99, 2 seconds slower but taken from a 5k is very promising. Well done for the wava SB.

I really should get back to doing some speed training which I enjoy but I also like running long where I can.

Same here. Surges in a long run are good. I will do surges every mile or so a bit like a long fartlek

About This Thread

Maintained by Fenland Flier
For encouragement and general chat about the virtual mile challenges.

It's not easy pacing a mile race whether it's virtual or real, be it on track, road, grass or trail. Go out too hard initially and struggle towards the end, go out too soft and regret your finish time.

Use this thread to record your jubilation or allow us to commiserate with you.
