I always tend to go off too fast and when I realise and I slow down then I slow too much and I yo-yo, this is why I set up the virtual mile to try and get a steady pace throughout. I've failed miserably 🤣

Despite being a minute slower than when I set up the virtual miles I'm quite pleased as I haven't done a lot of running recently and I've certainly not done any tempo or interval runs since forever.

It's not easy pacing a mile race whether it's virtual or real, be it on track, road, grass or trail. Go out too hard initially and struggle towards the end, go out too soft and regret your finish time.
