Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Garmin doesn't actually tell you your 12 month high from what I can see, just all 12 month periods from current date.

This tells me I did 5,038,416 for the year to June 2018, 4,971,168 to June 2019 and 3,780,585 up till today (which will end up as about 3,900,000 by the end of the month).

Current year shows that cost of 5 months limited running and lockdown. On weekdays while running and commuting to work, I'd guess I'd be looking at 15-18k a day as I've usually done 10k plus before with the run before I leave for work.

Despite topping over 500,000 steps twice (the only two month I've done that), my current 12 month total is at the lowest since I owned a watch with step tracking, a paltry 4.1m steps. My best year was not much higher though, 4.8m.

just had a look at I topped 5M steps in one 12 month period, but only once. Just found the Personal Records bit:

Most steps in a day: 53,237
Week: 159,833
Month: 500,747

Topped 500,000 3 times in the last 12 months... ah there is one thing I'm up here with the mileage munchers/speedsters on then! 584k is my record from 14 months ago. That also had my top day of 45,000 steps when I ran Shakespeare marathon then had to walk an extra mile back to the car at the end.

Highest month is 499,250 August 2017.
Highest week is 125,556 ending 24 Nov 2019
Highest day is 27,474 4 Nov 2017.

No deliberately trying to get steps here though. Assume that's also the case for most of you.

5.9m steps for me over the past year. Noticeable reduction in steps since lockdown despite running miles staying pretty much the same.

The thread is alive!!

I have a Fitbit and can see annual daily average ad similar to you Baz. I was 16,828 average per day for 2019, best year to date I have just found out :)

Does anyone know how you can easily see highest day, monthly totals on Fitbit app. I cant find.

SPR - No delibearet trying to get steps from me. I have some days (non-running) where I am at my desk all day and have 3-4k max from popping out at lunch.

PtB - Golf is a good one, if I do a run and golf the same day they mount up :)
