Jennywren, you will be amazing, I'm sure! Just keep at it and enjoy what you do. xxx

My race today was 5 x laps of a concrete cycle track so it was a bit soul destroying. No one spoke to me afterwards. It was a bit grim to be fair. Hehehe I don't know how to switch that negative voice in my head off either. xx

Lynn, just focus on what you accomplished, which was great. You're certainly 'within spitting distance' of the 30 mins target. A concrete surface must have been tough on you.

It was just a bit grey, if that makes sense.I lost track of how many times I'd been 'round. :)

I don't know whether I am pleased FestiveMedals...the whole thing just felt a bit flat, if that makes sense. It was very serious. There weren't many smiles.
I walked a few times too. Onwards and upwards though!

Thank you all for your support and kind comments. I was very nervous and it felt a bit of an anti climax just finishing then driving away without speaking to anyone afterwards.

Well done Lynn, I think getting out is brill, never mind the fact that you achieved it, without all the support from the crowds and the other runners. It is a strange time, but you have managed to move forward with your goal when many this year are standing still. That makes it an amazing achievement in my book and an excellent time 😀

Lynn the fact you said you were with fasties makes your time all the better as it’s a bloody good time. You should have just had all of us in your head and that would have been enough support - well done medal

It really did help thinking of everyone on here and the supportive messages. First male did it in 14:58 which is just incredible!
