horrid isn't it, WA.I
've tried eating more. Not drinking tea all day (that's hard) not drinking my rather too habitual glass of red in the evening. Nothing changes.

I'm generally a bad sleeper. In my youth I'd take ages to get to sleep. Now I struggle to keep my eyes open beyond 9pm most nights but wake frequently through the night. If my mind starts 'thinking' then I'm screwed. At the moment I am frequently waking at 5:30 but I have a suspicion someone leaves for work at that time. Like others I'll have 2/3 bad nights for every decent one. Annoyingly if I manage a long lie (anything after 6:30) at the weekend I invariably hardly sleep the next night.

I sleep ok most nights, I just get woken up by the baby. At the moment 6.30/7 is a long lie. He can be a pain some nights as he wakes me looking for his teddy or occasionally milk.

I get to sleep fairly quickly but wake usually around 3am - after about 4 hours. It’s hit and miss as to whether I can get back to sleep or not. If I do, typically about 5am, then I can get a few more hours before I wake up again.

Last night, I woke up 4 times between 1am and 7am for no particular reasons. I didn’t get back to sleep after that.

Good to hear some other experiences, I might not be that badly off after all.

Last night seemed like a good night, I think I woke up, but not for long, and definitely didn't have to get up for a wee, which is a bonus.

here's wishing you all a long and deep sleep tonight.

I did better last night too - maybe just admitting the problem and knowing you're not alone helps :)

I woke every hour from 1 until 5, then when husband got up at 5 I slept through until just after 7. Garmin says I've had 7 hours sleep, so that's a win :)
