When I had my knee scanned I fell asleep. The banging was strangely soothing and I found myself drifting off :-)

Even though I've been in feet first both times, listening to soothing music and looking at a ceiling of flowers, I have never fallen asleep.

I am surprised by the time you get to what seems like a spin cycle, anyone would be in the land of nod.

My arm once fell asleep, I was doing a cognitive task at the time so they wouldn't have been happy if my brain had done likewise

I had a head scan and lasted about a minute before I discovered I was claustrophobic 😳

I had a lovely snooze when I had my knee scanned a couple of weeks ago. The banging noise didn't bother me. But I do live on a building site so I am used to it. The nurse said she had had patients climb out half way through in a panic! I was grateful for the down time 😴😴😴

My head was inside the scanner for a head MRI, but the loud banging was rhythmically relaxing and I struggled to stay awake so that my head wouldn't move, even though it was in a head and neck brace.

I had two scans for fibroids...I had a tube in my hand for dye, so definitely didn't fall asleep.
