I am 59 and many of my peers struggle to sleep. But no problems to report. Usually go up to bed about 11.15pm, in with the silicone ear plugs, sleep soundly until 7 to 8am

Not great. Usually I have 2/3 nights when I wake for about 2 hours in the night and feel rough during the day as a result. If it goes to 4 or more nights I really struggle. And the I have a night or two where I sleep right through ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ I wish I could identify a cause for it all. Stress is definitely a factor but doesnโt always apply.

My sleep was suffering while I was working shifts during my nurse training. I'm also epileptic and can suffer a bit with my mental health. I looked into 5htp which seemed as if it would help all three. I have been sleeping better but still have occasional nights of struggling but no where near as many

I don't sleep well. Usually general restlessness or sore back/hip. Or shift work. Or perimenopausal stuff. Or anxiety. Zopiclone helps for shift work.

I fall asleep easily - sometimes on the sofa before 9pm - but usually wake at some point between about 2 and 4 and don't always get back to sleep. If I do, anything after 7 is a lie-in.
According to my Garmin, in the last 10 days I have had 46 hours sleep. I wish I could curl up on the sofa and sleep in the afternoon, but can't. Going to try magnesium supplements - got to try something.

I sometimes fall asleep early then wake up several hours later, then doze off then wake just before my alarm goes off at 6am.

I always sleep better during the winter months and find I wake alot earlier in the summer probably due to the lighter mornings

Rosehip- that's exactly me. If I'm still awake at 5 I just get up and start the day. Wearily.

Recently my sleep has been awful, I've been waking during the night and dozing back off then waking again fully too early in the morning. This morning I woke up at 4.45am. I was tired all day at work. I'm not sure whether it is stress, depression, or just that my body clock is out-of-whack. I have been training quite a bit and have been eating reasonably healthily and losing body fat* so also don't know whether that is a possible cause. *people at work keep commenting that I'm losing loads of weight, but on the scales, I'm not, but my body shape is gradually changing so I reckon it's fat that I'm losing.
