Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I sat down for my haircut and in the mirror I saw a hoody, hanging up.
"I've got one like that" I thought.
Of course I have, I hung it up there about 15 seconds ago.
I thought it again about 10 minutes later.

I just made myself a coffee... then started heading to my desk with the milk carton in my hand and the coffee cup left on the side.

Could've been worse McGoo; you could have put the coffee in the 'fridge too.

We have a fancy bean-to-cup coffe machine now, I usually forget at least on step, most often the cup.

I understand that the drip tray on a Nespresso machine is designed to take a full cup worth of liquid. I've found this useful on a number of occasions when I've forgotten to put a cup under the outlet

I have also managed, on separate occasions, to try to make coffee in the one-cup drip filter without water, without coffee, and without a cup. I probably shouldn't bother getting a machine that has any more steps involved in preparation.

Oh, the other thing I did when at a Premier Inn recently - where you have those rubbish sachets of tea and coffee and the little plastic things of milk... I made the coffee, threw the used coffee sachet in the bin, peeled the top off the milk ... and then poured the milk straight into the bin too

I've done that as well. I recently taken to cracking eggs and dropping the contents straight in the bin rather than in a bowl and the shell in the bin.

Best thing for the pots of UHT milk. I'd put them straight in the bin to protect humanity.

About This Thread

Maintained by ChrisHB
This morning I went to charge my kindle and instead found myself trying to charge my coffee mug. It was my third coffee of the day as well, clearly not strong enough!

=============

I was just drying my hair after a shower, I switched the hairdryer on and suddenly the bedroom was plunged into darkness, the hairdryer wasn't working either. Great, the electrics have just tripped out.

I find a torch, go to the fuse box but nothing has tripped - turns out I pressed the light switch instead of the hairdryer 'on' button.
