A trip to the dentists this morning for my check up. Just four days early.

Ran out of toothpaste last night, so I dipped my hand into the washbag I take on holiday which contains pharmaceuticals I might need as well as shampoo, toothpaste etc.
I was a bit bleary eyed, but I don't recommend brushing your teeth with Savlon.

I was trying on a running bra (pull on type) which felt a bit tight. I really couldn't get it off despite much wriggling and had to get Mr SD to rescue me 😳🤦‍♀️ (thankfully I was at home!).

A blessing that it wasn’t Anusol!

SD - those pull-on ones are really annoying. Years ago I had a front loader, which was so easy. I can’t understand why they don’t seem to be made any more.

Concerned that my vision had gone blurry this morning *after* putting in my contact lenses. Then realised I already had my lenses in and was now wearing two pairs.

Swiftly followed by preparing a stove-top pot of coffee, then 20 minutes later realising I had not turned on the hob.

I'm going back to bed.

Having a bit of a day of it. Put pants and T-shirt on back to front this morning and I’ve just wondered why the kettle wasn’t boiling. I hadn’t plugged it in. Is it too late in the day to start again?

That's not something you need to fess up to - in fairness you probably turned back to front while asleep.

Took me a minute to figure out why I was a touch uncomfortable.

About This Thread

Maintained by ChrisHB
This morning I went to charge my kindle and instead found myself trying to charge my coffee mug. It was my third coffee of the day as well, clearly not strong enough!

=============

I was just drying my hair after a shower, I switched the hairdryer on and suddenly the bedroom was plunged into darkness, the hairdryer wasn't working either. Great, the electrics have just tripped out.

I find a torch, go to the fuse box but nothing has tripped - turns out I pressed the light switch instead of the hairdryer 'on' button.
