Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Started loading the dishwasher after breakfast... without first unloading the clean stuff from last night.

Put the washing into the machine, closed the door, poured the washing liquid and conditioner and opened the door to the dishwasher. Bit puzzled as to where the little dispenser drawers had gone.

C and I were in Hastings today, walking along the front towards this place.

โ€˜Wowโ€™ I said, โ€˜what a weird combination - ice cream, milkshakes and sushiโ€™.

C just looked at me.

In my (very weak) defence we were approaching from the side.

I went out to the garage to get a bag of chopped spinach from the freezer and came in with a half-loaf of sliced bread.

too many senior moments to remember recently :(

however this afternoon:

Set the dehumidifier up in the dining room to try to dry out the result of a leaking bath seal
Husband came home early as planned and turned off the electric to change a broken socket.

not only was I then "surprised" that the dehumidifier had stopped, I called it the immersion heater and completely confused both of us

Went to clean my teeth last night, and my electric toothbrush was out of charge.

It took me far too long to work out how to clean my teeth..

About This Thread

Maintained by ChrisHB
This morning I went to charge my kindle and instead found myself trying to charge my coffee mug. It was my third coffee of the day as well, clearly not strong enough!

=============

I was just drying my hair after a shower, I switched the hairdryer on and suddenly the bedroom was plunged into darkness, the hairdryer wasn't working either. Great, the electrics have just tripped out.

I find a torch, go to the fuse box but nothing has tripped - turns out I pressed the light switch instead of the hairdryer 'on' button.
